On behalf of the Men's Golf Association, the MGA Board has instituted the "MGA Member Emeritus Award."
This Emeritus status recognizes previously active MGA members who have made a meaningful contribution to the MGA and the overall golf experience at
Mission Valley. It is both a thank you and a message that they are fondly remembered.
The inaugural group of Members Emeritus consists of:
- Dr. Richard Beebe
- Donald Dahowski
- Dr. Richard Hammett
- Dr. Charles Johnson
- Dr. Richard Morrison
- John Woods III
All were worthy competitors – some even Club Champions. More importantly, they were good companions and remain good friends.
