Local Rules
- You may take relief from an imbedded ball in the face of the bunker. You may place the ball in the nearest flat point of the bunker. This rule only applies to imbedded balls in the face, not the flat part.
- The maintenance area is not part of the golf course and is considered out of bounds. The area is defined by the fence.
Not a Local Rule
- There is NO local rule for a free drop from roots. The Club, MGA and WGA have NO rules that allow a free drop from roots. Some groups have rules that allow for free drops from roots and that is fine. Do NOT take drops when playing in any of the previously mentioned sanctioned tournaments without a penalty.
Mission Valley MGA Season Long Points Cup
This is the 3rd year of the Mission Valley MGA Season Long Points Cup competition. All MGA members are
automatically entered. There is no entry fee.

Players earn points equal to the dollars won in each event. In addition, every player earns 5 points per event for
participating. In the 2022-2023 Season a total of 18,123 points were awarded. Members should play in as many events as possible.
